LICENSING AND ACTIVATION


HOW CAN I LICENSE EBOOKS FOR Buske eLibrary?

A selection of collections or packages and a complete overview of all available eBooks can be found » here. We are also happy to submit customised offers for individual titles and Pick & Choose packages. If necessary, we can also consider customised requirements for individual terms of use in this regard. Special conditions are available for direct purchase from the publisher.

HOW CAN I LICENSE EJOURNALS FOR Buske eLibrary?

Please visit our website buske.de/zeitschriften or send an email to vertrieb@buske.de to arrange a subscription (bundle or eOnly) for your library.

Have you already taken out a print subscription to the following journals?

» Linguistische Berichte (LB)

» Romanistik in Geschichte und Gegenwart (RomGG)

Then simply apply for activation of the online access included in the subscription: buske-elibrary.de/ejournalfreischaltung


HOW CAN I UNLOCK EJOURNALS FOR Buske eLibrary?

If you have already taken out a subscription, simply apply for activation at: buske-elibrary.de/ejournals

 

CAN I ALSO BUY EBOOKS AND EJOURNALS FROM DEALERS/AGGREGATORS?

 WHERE CAN I FIND INFORMATION ABOUT USAGE RIGHTS, HOSTING, FUNCTIONALITIES AND SERVICES, ETC.?

HOW CAN I SET UP A TRIAL FOR MY LIBRARY/INSTITUTION?

Write us an email  or use our contact form and tell us the institution, the title you are interested in and provide at least one email address that can be used to contact you and for the trial access.

Please note that the trial access cannot be activated for an IP range! You will receive from us an identifier for the librarian account and at least one identifier for user access. During the trial, printing and downloading is limited to 2 pages and text copying of 3000 characters.


 ACCESS AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT


I HAVE NO ACCESS TO CONTENT LICENSED BY Buske eLibrary. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Please check in your librarian account that all IP ranges have been correctly created and request further IP ranges if necessary (see below). You can view all licences that have been assigned to you in the "Packages" tab. Please check if your titles are listed there. If you continue to receive error messages, please email us at support@buske.de., indicating the page for which you would like to access the content and, if possible, send screenshots.

HOW CAN I CHANGE THE USERNAME AND/OR PASSWORD OF MY LIBRARIAN ACCOUNT?

You can change your password at any time via buske-elibrary.de/password or in your user account. If you would like to change the responsible librarian (or other details), please email us at support@buske.de.

HOW CAN I RETRIEVE (COUNTER-)STATISTICS AND META OR MARC DATA?

Please log in with your librarian ID. Statistics and MARC data can be retrieved via the respective tabs in the librarian's account.

HOW CAN I CORRECT OR UPDATE MY IP-AREA?

Please log in with your librarian ID. In the librarian's account, you can provide us with further IP addresses under the "IP ranges" tab. Alternatively, send us an email at support@buske.de stating the institution and IP ranges, preferably in "from-to" format.

CAN I SET UP ACCESS VIA SHIBBOLETH?

We are currently working on the connection to Shibboleth. If you are interested in that, please let us know by email (support@buske.de). We will inform you as soon as the connection is ready.

CAN THE LIBRARY LOGO BE DISPLAYED IN THE ELIBRARY?

You can upload a logo in the librarian's account (using the contact information), which will be displayed in the header of the eLibrary, to the right of the publisher's logo. Permitted file types: .jpg , .png, .jpeg. Max. dimensions: 290x100.

HOW WILL I BE INFORMED WHEN A NEW EJOURNAL ISSUE HAS BEEN RELEASED?

If you would like to be informed as soon as a new eJournal issue is released, please subscribe to the respective journal newsletter.

OUR LIBRARY HAD ACCESS TO THE EJOURNALS VIA INGENTA. DOES THE ACCESS STILL EXIST?

We stopped supplying Ingenta when the new eLibrary was introduced and we are no longer able to manage access. However, you may still have access to archive editions in your profile. However, you should only refer to Buske eLibrary in your catalogues.
