Beschreibung
The article explores the link of the cultural-philosophic aspect of postmodernity and the so called “special period” in Cuba. As example there are analyzed two literary texts which were published in this historical moment. The investigation focuses on the construction of the individual and collective identities of the protagonists. The texts furthermore demonstrate in very specific ways the end of the metadiscourse in Cuba, the revolution from 1959.
